“Taylor Sterling has built a strong community through Moonbow, her thoughtful newsletter that discusses books, creators, and other storytelling forms in conversation with one another. She understands how to connect people through books using the current (and ever-changing) social media landscape. And she approaches everything she does with a deep respect for children's books. Not only is Taylor an engaging participant in the Kidlit community online, but she is also an amazing connector in person. As I've chatted with her about my books, she has offered incredible ideas about how to build a conversation around my book and connect with others in a meaningful way.” — Rachel Wilson, author and illustrator of children’s books

"As I've told you before, it's just wonderful and so important to have Moonbow there, sharing and responding to picture books in such an intelligent and complex way. I've been waiting for a voice like yours to come along for a long time!" — Claudia Zoe Bedrick, publisher, editor, and art director of Enchanted Lion Books

‘I was fortunate enough to work with Taylor at Glitter Guide for just over three years, an incredible lifestyle publication that she founded in 2011 and operated until 2021. Working with Taylor Sterling was a masterclass in content creation, storytelling, and entrepreneurship.
As an editor and creative director, Taylor has a sharp eye for what resonates with readers. I learned so much from her on crafting product-driven content that’s both engaging and strategically aligned with brand goals. These are insights and key lessons that I still utilize in my own role as a full-time shopping and commerce writer.

Taylor’s creativity shines in the way she curates shopping stories, relating to and connecting with her audience. She doesn’t just discuss consumer products; she builds a unique narrative around them, weaving in trends, lifestyle cues, and storytelling that make every piece feel fresh and aspirational. Her ability to balance editorial voice with performance metrics is rare and invaluable in the commerce space. She’s also a collaborative leader who always elevated the work of those around her. Under her guidance, I saw firsthand how thoughtful editing and creative direction can turn good content into great content—and great content into revenue-driving opportunities. Any team focused on commerce and lifestyle topics would be lucky to have her!”
